Statistics Calculators

Statistics calculators turn probability questions into clear numbers: the chance of rolling a total with dice, the odds of a rare game drop after many tries, how many arrangements are possible, probabilities under the normal and binomial distributions, and how much one risk differs from another.

Each page explains the formula with worked examples and common mistakes, so you understand the result as well as get it.

How we build and check these calculators

Every calculator on Tuff Search shows the formula or method it uses, a worked example and its limits, and lists its sources where facts matter. Health, money and legal-rule pages are checked against official or peer-reviewed sources and dated. Read how we build and review calculators in our Editorial Policy.

Probability is favourable outcomes ÷ all outcomes (1/6 for a die); odds compare favourable with unfavourable outcomes (1 to 5).

Use the binomial for counts of successes in a fixed number of independent trials; use the normal for continuous measurements, or as an approximation to the binomial when n is large.

Exact where possible (dice, binomial, permutations); numerical methods accurate to many decimal places for the normal distribution.
